What Corecom do
Corecom has worked in partnership with Moonlight Trust providing monetary donations, strategic business advice to the management team, hands on practical support to the women the trust works with in Yorkshire.
As Business Advisor and Patriot to Moonlight Trust, our Managing Director, Jonathan Sanderson, has been instrumental in delivering workshops and masterclasses for refugee women and those from ethnic minority backgrounds, as part of ‘Coffee, Cake and Careers’, a European Social Fund project to build confidence and resilience, and challenge societal inequality.
Drawing on his long-standing work around equality and diversity, Jonathan’s ‘Raising Women Leaders’ masterclasses span career advice, tips for staying motivated, career planning and goal and ambition setting. His work is highly regarded by the trust and his continued commitment to raising awareness of the ongoing global crisis and empowering refugee women won him the “Excellence Award in Business” and recognition by MPs in the region.
The ‘Coffee, Cake and Careers’ project has proven immensely successful with 95% of participants taking up employment, training or volunteering upon completion. This high level of success has resulted in the project continuing with a third cohort now underway.
£1,000 donated to feed refugees displaced on the Syrian-Turkish border.
