CloudBoss will take place on Thursday 13th October from 6.00 – 8.30pm in central Leeds. The event, which forms part of the award-winning Boss Event Series, has been specifically created so that Heads of Infrastructure, Cloud, Devops and IT Directors can come together, share valuable information and problem solve together.

Chris Jordan is the confirmed guest speaker at CloudBoss. Chris is the Head of Cloud Centre Excellence at global law firm, DLA Piper. He is a Prince2 Practitioner, an AgilePM Practitioner and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt professional. His experience lies in project management, the software delivery life cycle, process improvements, business analysis, business change and project delivery. Over the years he has worked in a number of sectors, including eCommerce, Financial Services, Business Process Outsourcing, Public Transport and the Oil & Gas sector.

Chris was a Project Manager at DLA Piper prior to his current role. Before that he was the Senior Transformational Project Manager at Arriva Bus (UK) and the Head of Business Change at Ebuyer. In his talk: ‘Why technology is secondary to the team you build within Cloud Transformation’ he will be addressing:

  • If you feel as though you’re alone in your struggles within Cloud Transformation – you’re in the same boat as everyone else!
  • The importance of having buy in at an executive level.
  • Understanding how and where cloud best fits within your organisation.
