Navigating AI transformation: Practical Strategies from Leaders and Innovators

The world of technology is constantly evolving, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) is now at the forefront of this transformation. It’s an area we are all navigating, so Corecom Consulting recently hosted a successful event in Amsterdam, bringing together a room full of passionate tech specialists based in the Netherlands.

This event, our second in Amsterdam, was titled “AI: navigating AI transformation: practical strategies from innovators and leaders.” Our esteemed speakers offered a wealth of diverse perspectives, covering key areas relevant to European tech recruitment and AI strategies.

The evening featured presentations from a distinguished panel Noha Shafik, Amgad Muhammad and Roy Lenders, each with a unique viewpoint on AI:

  • Leadership and implementation: We gained valuable insights into leading and implementing AI initiatives within organisations.
  • Practical applications: Real-world case studies showcased how AI is being utilised across various industries, offering inspiration for Dutch tech companies.
  • Startups & big tech: The discussion explored the distinct approaches of both startups and established tech giants in the realm of AI, providing a comprehensive perspective.
  • Ethical considerations: A crucial aspect of AI development, ethical considerations were thoughtfully addressed, ensuring responsible implementation.
  • Pitfalls and potential: We delved into both the potential drawbacks and the immense possibilities that AI presents.
  • Building your AI strategy: Most importantly, the speakers provided a roadmap for crafting a successful AI strategy, empowering attendees to embark on their own AI journeys.

There was plenty of energy in the room, with attendees actively participating in an extended Q&A session – the longest we’ve ever witnessed at our events! This lively exchange highlighted the deep engagement and enthusiasm of the Dutch tech community towards AI. We’ve already received fantastic feedback, and we’re excited to see how these learnings translate into action.

The evening didn’t end there! To delve deeper into practical applications, the second part saw attendees gather in smaller groups to tackle essential questions:

  • Mitigating bias & discrimination: We discussed strategies to consider bias and discrimination in AI tools, ensuring responsible and ethical implementation.
  • Demystifying AI jargon: We explored ways to bridge the knowledge gap by simplifying AI jargon and buzzwords for teams lacking technical expertise.
  • Managing change and resistance: The discussions addressed how to manage change effectively and overcome internal resistance to AI adoption within organisations.
  • Staying ahead of the curve: In the ever-changing world of AI, attendees shared strategies for staying updated on the latest trends and advancements.

A sincere thank you goes out to our wonderful speakers for their insightful presentations and preparation. Their expertise was instrumental in creating such a valuable learning experience.

Finally, a big thank you to our Dutch-based network who made the effort to join us.

The world of AI is full of possibilities, and we’re committed to fostering knowledge exchange within the European tech sector. Stay tuned for future events as we continue to explore the ever-evolving world of AI and its impact on the Netherlands tech sector.

What people say about us
We’re proud to be a 5-star rated company on Google. See what people say about us.

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a devastating effect on children with cancer and their families. Extended periods of separation and isolation, anxiety and financial hardship have all taken their toll and the need for our specialist support has become ever more critical. However, sadly, at Candlelighters, we saw our fundraising grind to a halt during the pandemic, which is why we put Team 500 into motion. And we are so thrilled that Corecom have come on board with supporting us on this initiative. In going above and beyond their fundraising goals, we are able to continue to provide critical support and make life a little brighter for the 150 families in Yorkshire devastated by a cancer diagnosis each year.

Thank you Corecom Consulting for your support, it means the world to us and to our families.
