DevBoss Registration Open: How to do More with Less

We are delighted to announce the first DevBoss of 2023: ‘How to do more with less’. The award-winning networking event will take place on 20 April 2023 from 6.00 – 8.30pm in Leeds City Centre.

We will welcome guest speakers Andy Norton, Senior Engineering Manager at Prolific, and Apostolis (Toli) Apostolidis, Head of Engineering at cinch, who will be addressing ‘how to do more with less’, covering:

  • How do you avoid previous mistakes?
  • What’s effective as you scale?
  • Alternative ways of working

Andy Norton has experience of working in both small and large organisations, believing that the unit of delivery is the team. Before he joined Prolific as their Senior Engineering Manager, he was Head of Engineering Practice at cinch for a year and a half and Head of Engineering at FOOTASYLUM for just over two years. Andy has a keen focus on helping people grow, building communities, product thinking and pragmatic approaches based around lean agile and DevOps practices.

Apostolis (Toli) Apostolidis has worked at cinch since 2019 in variety of Software Engineering and DevOps roles. Prior to that he was the Lead Developer at Gazprom Energy for just over a year and a half and spent six years at IFS in senior Software Engineering roles. As a pure Mathematics and Mathematical Physics graduate, turned software engineer, he spent a few years in R&D, working on optimisation, algorithms – intelligently scheduling and planning jobs to workforces across the globe. After leading the digital team at Gazprom Energy, he currently works on observability and everything DevOps at cinch.
