Corecom becomes IEMA-Accredited in Sustainability

Corecom Consulting’s Managing Director, Jonathan Sanderson, has completed a ‘Sustainability Skills for the Workplace’ accreditation from Techbuyer, to ensure that he is professionally equipped with the skills to embed sustainability across the Corecom Group.

As well as buying used enterprise IT equipment and selling new and certified refurbished IT parts, course provider Tech Buyer, are thought leaders with front-line experience in organisational sustainability and are a valued Corecom client.

When asked about why he wanted to undertake the course, Jonathan, pictured with his IEMA credited certificate, said:

“I wanted to extend my knowledge of environmental sustainability so that I can make a positive impact within Corecom and beyond. The course has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to improve environmental performance, as well as the compliance obligations and business drivers for change, potential impacts on the environment and sustainability and environmental economic risks and opportunities.”

IEMA – The Institute for Environmental Management & Assessment – is the largest professional body for everyone working in environment and sustainability, promoting sustainability by offering resources and acting as a knowledge-sharing hub.

Over the coming year, Jonathan plans to use his newly gained skills and knowledge to:

  • Further develop sustainability policy across the Corecom Group
  • Minimise environmental impact of the Group’s activity
  • Educate the team on how to play a part in reducing our environmental impact.

What people say about us
We’re proud to be a 5-star rated company on Google. See what people say about us.

I have seen the challenges that people with protected characteristics face and I’d like to be a part of the population that is fighting for change. I have personally seen benefits from growing up within a diverse friendship group and around a family from different culture backgrounds. I want to encourage people to celebrate people’s differences and to take the opportunity to learn about others and accept them for who they are just as they would like to be accepted themselves.
