Senior Python Engineer (£70k-£90k) - AI-Driven Product Build

This is a hands-on senior engineering role for someone who wants to work on real-world AI systems, not proofs of concept or hype projects.

You'll be joining a small, founder-led team building an AI-driven platform that automates complex, document-heavy workflows. The focus is on applying modern AI tooling in production environments where reliability, accuracy, and clarity really matter.

This is a genuine build-phase role with meaningful ownership and influence over how the product evolves.

What you'll be doing

  • Building and maintaining backend services and APIs in Python

  • Working with AI / LLM-driven workflows in production systems

  • Designing robust, scalable backend architecture

  • Collaborating closely with founders and senior stakeholders

  • Taking features from concept through to live deployment

  • Strong commercial experience as a Python engineer
