Corecom Consulting set to have record-breaking thirteenth year
Whilst many companies have struggled to survive over the past 15 months, 2021 looks set to be a record-breaking year for Corecom Consulting.
Expansion
This year we are excited to have expanded into Europe and opened our first international office in Amsterdam. Associate Director, Leroy Watson joined the company in January to head up a team in Europe with a primary focus on the Benelux region. Corecom recognised early on, that with Lockdown and the economic impact of Covid, we needed to adapt quickly. We changed our business model and that has enabled us to grow, even during the pandemic.
Over the last thirteen years, Corecom has seen and been part of many changes in the IT Recruitment industry, won many awards, expanded into Europe and thrived during the pandemic. We are proud to have been crowned ‘The UK’s Leading IT Recruitment Company – UK’ at the National Corporate Excellence Awards for the second year running and have a host of other accolades under our belt. We beat off stiff competition to gain our crown from other companies and individuals that are committed to innovation, business growth, and providing the very best products and services to clients. We are credited as being ahead of the curve in the highly competitive IT Recruitment industry.
Flying the flag for Diversity and Inclusion
In terms of being ahead, it is our serious commitment to promoting Diversity and Inclusion. Recently we adapted our core values, incorporating Diversity and Inclusion at the heart of our company strategy and appointed two Diversity and Inclusion Ambassadors to champion the cause both internally and for our clients. Managing Director, Jonathan Sanderson, said:
“Corecom Consulting is an employer that puts our people first. It prioritises our team’s well-being, we want people to feel like they can be themselves.”
Women in Technology (WIT)
Corecom’s workforce is now 40% female, an increase from 18% since 2019. We also help our clients become more women in technology (WIT) friendly offering proactive guidance on how to be gender inclusive and female friendly. Corecom is fully committed to increasing the number of women in technology roles and technology leadership positions and have our own WIT Engagement Team, with WIT Ambassadors from all areas of the business. We have also launched a WITBoss event series that has successfully brought together leading women in IT to promote women’s prospects in senior roles. Corecom is working closely with Liverpool University, Leeds Beckett University and Barnsley College, supporting young women thinking of entering the IT sector by developing their career-building skills.

I’ve worked at Corecom since 2018 and I’ve loved every minute of it. The atmosphere is different to any other environment I’ve been in before and it’s really a place where you can get on without any of the classic recruitment stereotypes. I’m a big believer in the fact that if you enjoy coming to work then you’ll never need to be encouraged to perform and that’s exactly the case at Corecom.
