Corecom Consulting scores hat-trick as crowned UK’s Leading IT Recruitment Company for third year running

For the third year running, Corecom Consulting has been crowned ‘The UK’s Leading IT Recruitment Company – UK’ at the international Corporate Excellence Awards 2022.

The awards, presented by Corporate Vision (CV) Magazine, showcase the companies and individuals that are committed to innovation, business growth, and providing the very best products and services to clients across a wide range of industries.  Jo Holloway, Features Executive at AI Global Media, owner of CV Magazine, said:

“We assess against multiple criteria for this award and Corecom Consulting continues to outperform against them all, despite the setbacks presented during the last year. In addition to glowing client reviews and testimonials, the business has maintained steady growth, entering international markets and expanding on its existing offering.

“What really impressed the panel though is Corecom’s unwavering commitment to spearheading diversity and inclusion both internally and across the wider tech sector. We were inspired by the breadth of partnerships and initiatives the team has embarked upon to create a positive and lasting impact on their community, especially during these trying times.”

The award celebrates numerous highlights for Corecom who moved swiftly in the wake of the pandemic to counteract the negative effects of restrictions on communities. Successes in the last twelve months include:

  • Opening the first international office in Amsterdam, including the appointment of an Associate Director to head up the team in Europe
  • The delivery of internal and client training sessions addressing inclusiveness, including unconscious bias and writing fully inclusive job adverts
  • A series of coaching workshops to support staff with development plans
  • The appointment of two ambassadors to drive the diversity and inclusion agenda forward
  • A relaunch of Corecom’s WITBoss networking events, bringing female leaders together to promote women’s prospects in the sector
  • Continuing partnership work with Liverpool John Moores University, Leeds Beckett University and Barnsley College, building careers and raising aspirations for young women
  • Strengthening community and charity initiatives including the delivery of masterclasses for female refugees and communities at risk of social exclusion
  • Winning the highest accolade from Investors in People, the ‘Platinum’ mark – an award only granted to 2% of organisations across the globe, in recognition of its commitment to the wellbeing, development and diversity of its workforce
  • Three award wins including Prolific North Award for ‘Best In-house Marketing Team’ and ‘Best Creative Candidate Attraction Campaign’ at the Northern Marketing Awards. The business was also shortlisted for four awards including the Prolific North Business Leader of the Year and the Growing Business Diversity and Inclusion Award and the Investors in People Learning and Development Award.

Talking about the win, Jonathan Sanderson, Managing Director at Corecom said:

“We are absolutely bowled over to be knighted The UK’s Leading IT Recruitment Company for the third year running. It really is a testament to the wonderful work of our team who consistently push the boundaries to deliver the highest level of service for our clients, candidates and community.

“We pride ourselves on our holistic approach to IT recruitment – tackling industry issues around diversity and inclusion, as well as wellbeing, in a way that is both respectful and informative. This has proven to be a win-win approach for us and we hope that our successes inspire other organisations to take the leap and follow our lead on addressing key issues across the sector.”

Over the next 12 months, Corecom Consulting plans to expand its team from 30 to 50 people and grow to £10m revenue.
