Corecom Consulting flies the flag for Diversity and Inclusion at Leeds Digital Festival 2022
Shortlisted for the ‘Diversity and Inclusion Champion of the Year Award’ at the prestigious Growing Business Awards in both 2021 and 2022, Corecom Consulting is an industry leader in the field of Diversity and Inclusion (D&I). In the two-week line-up of world class tech content during September in our region that is #LeedsDigi22, we will be hosting a session entitled: ‘Don’t be a D(&I t)ick box employer: starting your journey the right way.’
The session which will be held on 20 September 2022 from 9.00 -11.00am, will be led by Corecom’s D&I Ambassadors, Dominic Brown and Aishia Ullah, who will demonstrate how to embark on the D&I journey in a supportive and meaningful way in order to achieve great results.
Dominic and Aishia are passionate about creating a diverse and fully inclusive working environment and since becoming Ambassadors for the company 18 months ago, they have devised and delivered their Diversity and Inclusion Training Programme both internally and externally. Through their combined experience in recruitment and D&I, they have helped businesses design more inclusive interview processes; offer prospective candidates equal opportunities and advised on how to make reasonable adjustments for candidates who need them. Not only have they delivered on D&I they have also made these businesses employers of choice attracting the very best talent in our region.
The morning starts at 9.00am with refreshments at Corecom Consulting’s HQ at Yorkshire House, Greek Street, Leeds. You’ll be given an opportunity to network and have a taster session where we will share some of our proven strategies to ensure you’re a genuine D&I employer. We’ll even show you how it can improve your bottom line.

What I wanted from this partnership was to be able to take a step back and free me up to focus on my other responsibilities in addition to recruitment. Working with Corecom alone made everything so straight forward. I wasn’t having to chase up several agencies and there was no duplication of candidates. Tunstall was their no1 focus and I trusted them to deliver, which they did. There was noticeable improvements in CV-to-interview and interview-to-placement ratios which was a real pain point before changing the model on how we worked together.
