Best Marketing Team award shortlist for Corecom
The Prolific North Champions Awards 2021 recognises the organisations, teams and individuals that are putting the North on the map in the Creative and Digital sectors. It has become a highlight on the industry’s calendar for the past 8 years and we’re thrilled to announce that Corecom Consulting has been successful in being shortlisted to the final two, to win the award of Best In-House Marketing Team. The event, sponsored by Metricomm , where the winner will be announced, will take place on 16 September 2021 at Lancashire Cricket Club. Although we are delighted to have made it to the final two, we are crossing everything that Kelly Newton, Marketing Executive, and Sarah Lindley, Marketing Director will take the well-deserved crown.
Through our Marketing Team’s creative strategic strengths, they complement each other to make their way of working efficient, impactful, and successful. Their award-winning campaigns and events help to develop Corecom’s community of leading IT professionals. Kelly said:
“We also equally value the internal achievements and wins of our employees and believe in promoting and celebrating this through internal events, social media, and awards for individuals. Our mission is to build a supportive community, both externally and internally.”
One of Kelly and Sarah’s main objectives is to attract and retain women in technology (WIT) positions which is a key challenge within the technology industry. Recently they undertook a marketing campaign to educate employers about how they can help to attract more women into the industry. Sarah tells us:
“This highlighted barriers such as a lack of female role-models in technology and restrictive employee benefits packages. The campaign was delivered through articles, interviews, graphics on social media and an email campaign to our network and it led to new partnerships with Liverpool University’s Career Confidence for Women and Leeds Beckett’s Women in Leadership Programme.“
