Techniques to reduce imposter syndrome to be tackled at DevBoss
Corecom is thrilled to announce that our award-winning DevBoss networking event for leaders in Software Development will take place on Thursday 12 May 2022 from 5.30 – 8.30pm at a top secret venue in Leeds City Centre.
Guest speakers, Scott Taylor – Senior JavaScript Developer at Arctic Shores and Alex Bennett – Head of Development at 43 Clicks North, will be addressing the impact and effects and of imposter syndrome, particularly when managing and recruiting, at this invitation only event.

DevBoss is hosted by Jamie Harvey, Software Development Recruitment Consultant and Tom Long, Recruitment Consultant at Corecom Consulting.
Attendees at the event will share theirs and their team’s experiences of imposter syndrome. They will come away with some top tips to interviewing with imposter syndrome in mind, which they can share with their teams.

I have seen the challenges that people with protected characteristics face and I’d like to be a part of the population that is fighting for change. I have personally seen benefits from growing up within a diverse friendship group and around a family from different culture backgrounds. I want to encourage people to celebrate people’s differences and to take the opportunity to learn about others and accept them for who they are just as they would like to be accepted themselves.
