Rousing Topic Announced for Women in Tech Event

The award-winning event for women in technology, WITBoss, takes place on Tuesday 20 June.

WITBoss will kick off at 6.00pm in central Leeds with an inspiring talk by Guest Speaker, Liz Whitefield – Director at Hippo Digital. Liz will be recognising how far women have come over the years and what the future could look like. Ahead of the event, Liz said:

“The focus of my talk will be about recognising how far we’ve come over the years. My daughter is 12 years old – the position and roles of women in society and technology has come such a long way since I was her age.

“We saw an encouraging upturn in last week’s election; the highest ever number of female MPs. I’m looking forward to discussing how we can take inspiration from this and other successes in order to shape our futures.”
