I am the UK Contract Team Manager. My main role is to support a team of enthusiast Contracts Consultants who specialise in their own individual markets, recruiting anything from Testers, BAs, Developers and everything in between. I am also the specialist Senior Appointments Consultant recruiting Interim and Contract Project Managers, Programme Managers, PMOs and CTOs.

What does a normal day working for Corecom look like?

My day usually starts at 6.45am, then jumping on the train to Leeds. After getting myself into the office, my day consists of speaking with clients and candidates across the UK, identify the best talent and opportunities available.

I support a team of specialist consultants within their own markets, we collaborate and support each out through the day to provide the best contracts available.

What’s the best thing about working with the Corecom team?

The Corecom team are not only specialist within their field, but they take the time to get to know our clients and candidates to offer a personalised candidate focused approach that encourages industry wide improvements.

How do you spend those well deserved days off?

Whenever I’m not at work I spend a lot of my time with friends and family visiting the latest bars and restaurants in Leeds or at my local clay pigeon shooting ground.

What job would you be terrible at?

Builder/joinery– I’m terrible at DIY.

What’s a piece of advice that has stuck with you?

Every mistake is an opportunity to learn.

What I wanted from this partnership was to be able to take a step back and free me up to focus on my other responsibilities in addition to recruitment.
