Digital Merchandiser, Google analytics, E-commerce, Retail, London, Visual merchandising, up to £400 a day outside IR35

Corecom Consulting are currently partnered with a very exciting retail / Digital e-commerce brand located in the heart of Borough Market / London Bridge who are going through serious growth mode and looking to bring a Senior Digital Merchandiser to join their talented digital team in a purpose contemporary built Digital office in which they operate a hybrid / remote working model.

The role

The Digital Merchandising Specialist will play an important role in partnering with internal digital teams to create a digital commerce content strategy, drive relevant onsite merchandising and execute an optimal digital customer experience.

You will lead content delivery, content strategy and content optimisation efforts across all categories. The right person will have the opportunity to prove they have delivered merchandising strategy from ideation through to delivery and have experience in best-in-class digital practices including;

  • Navigation
  • Content briefing
  • Content curation
  • Campaign development
  • Visual merchandising
  • Performance merchandising

This role is highly collaborative and we are looking for you to build and drive an end-to-end merchandising strategy with key stakeholders.

Key Qualifications / Skills

  • Proven analytical and numerical skills and expert user of Google Analytics to drive merchandising decisions
  • Ideally some knowledge of the retail industry / digital commerce
  • Experience translating commercial priorities into impactful digital merchandising campaigns
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience working collaboratively with creative teams


  • This role will manage the end-to-end merchandising pipeline for various projects and tracks of work including strategy creation, cross-functional partnership, planning, execution, optimisation and analysis.
  • Understand user segmentation, seasonal trends and create data driven strategies to best optimise merchandising placements.
  • Partner closely with buying teams on new product launches and how we bring them to market.
  • Establish a baseline performance standard for merchandising and content KPIs and Develop data-driven insights and recommendations to drive on-going change.
  • Develop merchandising requirements for project briefs with creative teams and partners.
  • Ensure all pricing and promotional changes are delivered on time and accurately.
