Are you an IT Technician with experience across software and hardware issues? Are you looking for progression opportunities and a fantastic training scheme?

Corecom Consulting are looking for an IT Technician to join a leading IT Systems Provider in Leeds to work within their highly technical Service Desk, providing remote support for their growing client base. As an IT Support Technician within the Service Desk, you’ll be responsible for identifying and resolving technical issues, from Software-related issues, through to Server Set-Ups, Configuration and Cloud-Based Systems. You’ll also be in a position to utilise your knowledge of IT Systems and Support to identify key areas of improvement before they create issues, and in doing so, learn more about the systems, utilising the training available and the personal development and training schemes in place.

What can you bring to the role?

  • Experience within a high-volume service desk or Managed Service Provider
  • Experience across Desktop PCs and Operating Systems (Win XP / 7 / 10)
  • Hands-on exposure to Networking and Firewalls
  • Server-Set Up – preferably
    • Server 2008/2016
    • Exchange 2010/2013/2016
    • Office 365
  • Experience with Back Up Technology – Veeam is beneficial in this role
  • Experience with Azure in a support context

This client is experiencing large scale growth, and as a result, are looking for highly technical IT Engineers to join their service teams to support the increased demand of their service, and the increase in complexity of the issues that arise. That’s where you come in. As an IT Engineer, you’ll be working alongside a technical and collaborative team, utilising your existing knowledge to identify, isolate and resolve issues across a variety of software, hardware and server related products.
