ITBoss proved to be a great success on 22 September with fantastic talks from Yoel Marson, CTO at CPP Group and Tom Walton, Director of Infinity Works Consulting , Gary Green, Principal Consultant at Infinity Works Consulting and Glenn Crossley, Head of IT Delivery at Hitachi Capital.
Yoel’s presentation, titled: ‘Structuring an Agile Organisation’, discussed how best to design organisations to best suit Agile software development and delivery. A link to Yoel’s presentation can be found here.
Tom, Gary and Glenn’s presentation, titled: ‘Rapid, Repeatable, Predictable Delivery’, consisted of a full end-to-end demonstration of how Hitachi have adapted their Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to deliver software in a rapid, repeatable and predictive manner using techniques aligned with the Agile methodology. You can find a copy of this presentation here.
A special thanks to all of the Guest Speakers at ITBoss for adding such value to the event by delivering thought-provoking and informative talks.
To get a feel for what to expect at ITBoss, Corecom Consulting has interviewed delegates from William Hill, UKAR, What Giants and Catalyst IT Solutions, and this video can be viewed here. The friendly atmosphere generated at ITBoss creates a unique platform whereby the IT Management Community can come together, share ideas and network with like-minded professionals.
When asked what he enjoyed the most about ITBoss, Chris Davies, IT Manager at Mission Without Borders said,
“I really enjoyed listening to both presentations and thinking about how they can be applied ‘locally’ to my organisation.
“The networking throughout the evening also proved to be extremely useful. A special thanks to Corecom Consulting for putting on an excellent event.”
