‘Transforming a business, its people and its culture to being data-enabled’
Our next BIBoss networking event in Manchester will take place on Thursday 2nd April 2020 from 6.00 – 8.30pm. BIBoss is an event for leaders in Business Intelligence & Data Analytics across the North of England. The event creates a unique platform for leaders in Business Intelligence & Data Analytics to debate, discuss hot topics, learn from reputable and established speakers and network with like-minded individuals.
The event, titled: “Transforming a business, its people and its culture to being data-enabled”, will welcome BI professionals and guest speakers: Paul Evans, ex-Head of BI at Together Money Loans and Steve Hulmes, MD at Sophic.
Paul’s presentation called ‘The Business Journey to Data Enablement’, will describe some of the steps (and hurdles) that need to be negotiated in order to take a business on its journey toward being data-enabled, and to make data a topic that is talked of positively from the water cooler to the boardroom.
Steve will deliver: ‘Turning number crunchers into consultants – the key to effective BI’, including the key mindset changes analytics teams need to make to be able to effectively add value to the organisation.

FEEDBACK FROM PREVIOUS BIBOSS EVENTS
“It has been interesting to hear other people’s issues, what technology stacks they are on and particular pain points. It was really useful to understand the size of data warehouses that people are using – this has particularly been an eye opener for me.”
