The Power of Goals: Jonathan Develops Student Employment Prospects
Corecom Consulting’s Managing Director, Jonathan Sanderson, has delivered a careers workshop at the University of Leeds to students planning for their future careers.
During the session, Jonathan offered positive insights into the power of formulating goals. Tasks that the students undertook included mapping networks, identifying key skills and distinguishing unique selling points. Jonathan said:
“The workshop was designed to get everyone thinking about what they want to achieve and how to get there.
“My aim is to transfer the skills and values I have adopted throughout my learning and business experiences. The tasks we’ve undertaken today aim to inspire and help both students and graduates to progress in their careers.”
Megan Herbert, a Chemistry (BSc) graduate from the University of Leeds took part in the workshop. She said:
“The workshop was very helpful and definitely good for thinking. It got myself and everyone else in the room to really assess what we are currently doing and how we could make it more effective going forward.”
