Corecom Showcases Grade A Solar Farm Office to Mini Visitors
Corecom Consulting welcomed the children of the company’s employees to its new Grade A offices at the pioneering Yorkshire Hub during February half term. Our new Headquarters at the Yorkshire Hub is home to the largest solar farm in Leeds City Centre.
The children were treated to a tour of the solar farm, continental breakfast, table football matches and pass the parcel with company directors and employees, plus a short talk on the importance of using renewable energy and how solar panels are used to generate electricity in the office and building.
Jonathan Sanderson, Managing Director, said:
“We were absolutely delighted to welcome the children to our new offices. They were genuinely excited to engage with the team and, the older children in particular, were interested to be shown around the solar farm as they have been researching renewable energy at school.”
Ash Grant, Talent Acquisition Manager and mother of two at Corecom Consulting, said:
“My girls were blown away with the welcome they received when they came to visit. It’s lovely for them to see where mummy comes to work during the week when they’re at school and to learn about the benefits of the building to the environment.
I can’t thank Corecom Consulting enough for the kindness it shows to its employees and their families. The team completely embraced the day, taking the time to sit down with the children to play pass the parcel. It really is a great place to work and this just shows why the company is flourishing.”
The last 12 months have brought us many exciting highlights at Corecom, including being named ‘The UK’s Leading IT Recruitment Company’ at the National Corporate Excellence Awards, presented by CV Magazine.
