Lewis Crawford, Principal Architect at The DataShed announced as BIBoss Guest Speaker
Lewis Crawford, Principal Architect at The DataShed is the confirmed Guest Speaker for our award-winning BIBoss networking event for leaders in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing on 21 January 2016.
Over the last 20 years there aren’t many things that Lewis hasn’t seen when it comes to data. He has worked as Head of Architecture and Design at the British Library managing petabyte-scale Object Stores. Lewis was the first Hadoop certified professional in Europe, and worked on large scale Big and Fast data systems for Morgan Stanley and Sun Microsystems before the term Big Data had been coined.
Lewis now works as a Principal Architect at The DataShed, his main interests being working with Docker to architect highly-scalable data platforms, and assisting clients on Big Data projects.
Dan Mills, Head of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing at Corecom Consulting said:
“I have met with Lewis on a number of occasions to discuss his presentation topic for BIBoss and I am eagerly awaiting what he has in-store for us all.
“Having someone as coveted as Lewis in the Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing space speaking at BIBoss is a real privilege and an amazing opportunity to add value to delegates attending the event.”
